These 2 links will be really helpful for my beginning. Why? The main reason is that these 2 links tell me about 2 famous murder in the U.S. OJ Simpson and the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. My topic is about the celebrity murders which are about the murders of famous people. These 2 links conclude a lot of information that needed for my presentation

Murder - Topic for presentation

          My topic for the presentation is murder. Murder really has a strong connection with the novel Of Mice and Mouse. There are two murders in the story. The first one is accidental, but the 2nd one is not. Moreover, I want to know more about murders in which the victims are the famous people. I also want to learn about the reasons why people want to kill each other. We are the same human being with one another, and murder is to destroy one individual human being. That's really sinful when we want to, or actually kill some one. Countries around the world already listed murder with a really bad consequence. That is probably the worst punishment for the criminal. In conclusion, murdering is the action of sin.

Summary: 

           Scientists tried to figure out the answer of the question: Does training in the heat help us to perform when the weather changes, especially when the temperature drops down? They found out the answer by the research from cycling clubs and university's cycling team. They divided these cycling athlete into two groups. These two groups were tested the same process but in different conditions. The process includes couple 45 minutes bicycle riding laps with 10 minutes rest between laps. The first group had to do all the process in a lab heated to 104 degrees. However, the other riders did the process in a cooled lab. So they're in totally different conditions (between hot and cold). Scientists found out that the answer for the question above is no. It's also said “Working out in really cold, wintertime temperatures might be a completely different ballgame,” by Dr. Lorenzo. Dr. Minson also guessed that this finding would be apply in the competition between the competitive bicycling riders and other endurance athlete. However, he didn't know the fact for sure. Moreover, overheated is really dangerous. If your body is feeling overheated, you should slow down or stop your work out process which would be less dangerous for yourself.

Personal Response:

               In my opinion, I think they already found the answer for the question. The fact is that the ones who live in a really hard condition (with a really low temperature) would have a better acclimation. For example, the ones live in Alaska and the tropical native (who lives in tropical country). We can see that the Alaska native can come to and live in any other tropical countries, yet the tropical native couldn't be able to live in Alaska when they first come. I think the competitive runners, bicycle riders would have much better shape than any other athletes. The only reason is that the environment trains them. Training in cold weather would help us to perform when the local temperature drops down.

Week 6 - George's Diary

If I were George, I think he would write about the future. I would write in George's diary (If I were George) about our future, me and Lennie, with house and the branch because George and Lennie were trying to get their own branch. I would write about I was step by step getting to our goals. After working at the California branch, we would be able to pay almost all the money for our ranch. Then I think I would write some comments of my own dreams when we wouldn't have to work for other people but ourselves. That would be really good time to spend together when Lennie was tending his rabbits (or chicken if he would like) and I would be working on the farm to get our products. When the winter comes, we would burn the wood in our fireplace to enjoy the warm with hot chocolates. When the spring comes, we go out the ranch to get our products. We would have beef, chickens kept in the frozen to eat for summer and winter. Our future is set :). However, at the end of the day, I would write: "Thank God because of giving us a peaceful day. Thank God because you kept Lennie away from problems. Thank you for everything Lords."

Summary: 

Bisphenol-A (or BPA), a dangerous chemical especially founded in hard plastic, is a really dangerous risk for many negative health effects. Decreasing sperm is now added in the list above. According to Dr.Li, it's a missing link in human studies. Moreover, it's a really dangerous toxic which harms men's germs. Canada is the first country list officially listed BPA as a dangerous toxic, and the U.S. government hasn't taken any certain action.

Response:

In my opinion, BPA, or whatever it is, is a really dangerous chemical. It has many negative effects especially for men. As a new foundation, I think scientists will make more research to figure out how to solve this problem. Hopefully this toxic will be solved as soon as possible because of men's benefits.

2nd Novel Assignment - Character Trait

Chosen Character: Curley

      Curley is the boss's son (boss of the California ranch) who almost has all the power. He's a small guy and that makes me hate the other big guys. There are many things about Curley we need to consider.

    First thing we need to mention about is his personality. Curley's personality is shown actually and and clearly in the conversation between four people: the boss, Curley, Georgie and finally is Lennie. Lennie is supposed to say nothing but Curley forced him to say something. Curley tries to be a bully (which is his real personality shown in the novel) to make Lennie speak. And the reason I chose him because he's a bully and that would be some interesting things about the bully. Curley's personality is not the only thing is analyzed. 

      The other thing is the similar (if there is) between me and Curley. I do not admire any of Curley's actions because they're all bully, they're not used for a modern knowledge person. And I don't think there would be any similar between us. Because basically Curley is a bully and I am not. Another thing that I think I would have a emotional connect with Curley because I think I understand how Curley feels and what makes him become a bully.

       The last thing is about what Curley's going to do. I think with this personality, Curley will make some problems for himself, especially with Lennie. Because I think one day Lennie will stop staying down and he will be revenged. And also about his decision about the current situation, I think he's making wrong decision because there is no good future in making problem and being mean with people.

Summarize:

       Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr. (T.I.), famous American rapper, helped the police talk to the man who wanted to jump down from an Atlanta Skyscraper when he was not expected. It's said that this famous rapper came to the 22 story office building and told the Officer James Polite that he wanted to help. The man agreed to face to face with T.I. and have a conversation with the American famous rapper. T.I. console the man that everything would get better. T.I. console the man that It looked bad right now, but it could turn around. T.I. said he heard the situation on the radio and drove to the building to help. This was one of the good action of this rapper who has been in many troubles with drug offenses and weapon charges. 

Personal Response: 

     I do like this rapper a lot. In my opinion, I think he's trying to make "good scores" in the crowd because of the trouble he has been in. However, he did a good job when he came and consoled the man who was just wanting to die. He did save the guy's life. Clifford Harris has done a good job in saving a person's life.
